An extensive ventilation system ensures filtered or purified air distribution during transport.
The container can be heated in cold weather and the pigs can be cooled with water spray in warm weather.
The trailers have slip-proof flooring and drinking water facilities for the animals.
The pigs are given ample space in compliance with EU regulations on the protection of animals during transport.
The animals can be fed from both inside and outside the trailer.

Quick loading and unloading
In the interests of animal welfare and in order to meet hygiene requirements, the loading and unloading pigs must be carried out with care.
Our trailers are equipped with 3 or 4 movable hydraulic decks that can be used horizontally to lift pigs up or down.
The roof can also be raised in order to make extra space for the driver during loading and unloading.
At the rear of the trailer there is a loading lift. The lift can either be used horizontally to lift the driver or the pigs up or down, or set at an angle so the pigs themselves can enter or exit the trailer.
A remote control and a control panel make handling easy and efficient.
Registering numbers and weight is also easy, as each trailer deck has its own weighing equipment.
Easy to clean and disinfect
As there must be no risk of any diseases or infections being transmitted from one load to the next, the trailer has to be cleaned and disinfected after each load.
Our trailers are specifically designed to be easily and efficiently cleaned.
This washing process is very demanding, since every nook and cranny must be completely clean.
All elements (exhaust filter, fittings etc.) in the vehicle have been evaluated and developed for cleaning efficiency and to ensure a better working environment for the driver.
The trailer has a built-in integrated washing and disinfection system.
It is also equipped with a high-pressure cleaner (30 liters/minute, 130bar), so the trailer can be cleaned to meet the most demanding hygienic standards for pig transportation.
Bacteria-free environment
The trailers ventilation air is filtered or purified by UVC light to prevent infectious agents reaching the pigs from outside.
Trailers with air conditioning
The authorities are coming down hard on the transportation of pigs in hot temperatures.
Vets are increasingly concerned about pigs becoming stressed and exhausted travelling long distances in the heat.
In fact, the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration recently announced that it would not approve trips over eight hours if not enough consideration was being given to the heat.
European law decrees that pigs cannot be transported if the temperature exceeds 30°C, a level easily exceeded inside a transporter.
And the heat waves being experienced currently in Europe, northern as well as southern, means that the situation is only going to get worse.
The pig industry is now being called on to either make special provision for animals being transported in the heat, or effectively stop the movement of animals for almost a third of the year.
